HR Advisor | 9 Month FTC | Manchester | Up to £35,000

Vibrant Academy in Central Manchester are seeking to appoint an experienced HR Advisor to cover a period of maternity leave.

Your new role
Working closely with the school's leadership team, as an experienced HR professional you'll provide a full, comprehensive HR support service to ensure all HR related matters are dealt with in an effective and consistent manner, providing advice and guidance to employees regarding policy and best practice. Prior experience within an education or safeguarding environment will be beneficial but not essential. Your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Recruitment - coordinating and managing a compliant process
• Absence Management
• Safeguarding - Safer Recruitment Checks and All Personnel Records are compliant and up to date with regulations standards
• Contract and Policy Understanding and application
• Employee Relations - case management and disciplinary and capability management
• Payroll - collate all changes and adjustments in a timely manner for payroll team to adjust
• HR System & files - accurately maintain and update
• Consultative HR Advice and Support for Line Managers

What you'll need to succeed
Proven Experience in a similar HR position
CIPD Level Qualified
Strong Employment Law Knowledge
Excellent Communication Skills
Confident Relationship Building and Influencing Skills
HR Systems Experience (Itrent advantageous)
Strong IT Skills
Experience within education or safeguarding environment beneficial , but training will be given
