Learning and Development Consultant
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of the UK's leading Investment Management businesses. The role will primarily focus on working closely with several Front Office business areas to provide learning and development consultancy on projects impacting investment teams.

Taking the lead as the L&D consultant allocated to front office projects, ensuring clear considerations are given to the consultancy, design, delivery and evaluation elements of the learning programme.
Provide learning and development consultancy that supports the strategy and front office business readiness plan.
Carrying out a full training needs analysis to fully understand the gaps between the current and future knowledge or skill requirements.
Working closely with project stakeholders to design appropriate learning solutions in line with project requirements and the audience. Applying creativity to content that enables core messages to be delivered in an engaging and interactive way.
Developing clear success criteria and evaluating all programmes to ensure solutions are fit for purpose, add value and can be fully validated.
Design and deliver effective training sessions in line with brand guidelines, accommodating various learning styles, behaviours and requirements.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business to enable a collaborative approach to agree and collectively shape learning needs across the front office.
Maintaining a working knowledge of processes, standards, knowledge and skills across the business in order to proactively and knowledgably support the development of our people.
Collaborating and working closely with other members of the team, ensuring consistent and cohesive delivery of key messages across both projects and other day-to-day deliverables.
Promoting a culture of learning, ensuring that the company values are reflected in everything that we do.
Maintaining own knowledge and self-development on external industry and regulatory requirements to allow these to be built in to learning solutions.
Contribute to other L&D team activities, demonstrating flexibility to support the team as required.
CIPD Level 4 or above in Learning and Development (desired)
Financial services qualification (e.g. Investment Management or Financial Planning) (desired)
Experience working in a similar role in financial services or the wealth management industry ( essential )
Delivering in a regulated and fast-paced change environment
Familiar with learning systems e.g. LMS/eLearning software
Learning and development consultancy experience
Programme/project management experience
Comfortable with full suite of MS Office programmes
Familiar with learning creation systems e.g. Articulate/Captivate
Good understanding of the UK regulatory framework
Knowledge of suitability requirements
Able to understand and explain complex processes
