A top law firm with offices across the UK and Asia are recruiting for an HR Officer to join their team. Reporting into divisional HR Managers who cover Employment, Immigration and Reward client groups, this role will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Supporting the HR Managers to deliver full employee lifecycle for fee earners and support staff across this division
  • Supporting wider HR team on firm wide projects
  • Working alongside Recruitment team to support recruitment process for roles within division
  • Oversight of and ensuring joiner and leaver procedures are effectively implemented
  • Managing on-boarding process for new joiners and conducting exit interviews for leavers
  • Carrying out induction sessions
  • Managing Career Development Partner process for Associates
  • Being day to day contact for secretarial staff and acting as key HR support
  • Liaising with L&D to input into the design and delivery of relevant high-quality training across all roles
  • Supporting HR Managers on performance management issues and providing HR support and best practice guidance to line managers
  • Advising divisional employees on HR policy
  • Managing maternity/paternity leave and all relevant support is given
  • Delivery of firm's annual salary and bonus review

As HR Officer, you will possess:

  • Education to degree level and ideally in possession of a CIPD qualification
  • Minimum of 2 year's experience working as an HR Officer within a law firm
  • Previous experience of managing ER cases from start to end
