Payroll & Banking Specialist £45k to £50k + Bonus - City

A leading global Investment Firm currently seek an experienced Payroll & Banking Specialist to work alongside their International Payroll & Benefits Manager.

This is a brand new role due to growth and offers a fantastic opportunity for someone that wants to grow and develop a role and not sit still.

The role

  • Payroll:
  • Responsible for the day to day processing, reporting and review of payroll matters across a number of legal entities as well as being responsible for EMEA daily banking reconciliations and projects as they arise
  • Prepare, process and review the preparation of 4 UK monthly payrolls
  • Prepare, process and review 5 overseas payrolls: Spain, Luxembourg, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Germany
  • Compensation processing: Salaries, bonus, RSU's, Carry, Severance, Loan Interest, Pensions and Benefits in Kind arrangements
  • Upload monthly payroll data into the firms accounting system (SAP) along with creation of payroll payments when required
  • Work closely with Finance, HR, External Benefits providers and payroll vendor ADP/TMF
  • Prepare and own the firms UK P11D and PSA's
  • Daily Banking:
  • Ownership of the EMEA daily banking including: Reconciliations and Journals into SAP
  • Processing weekly AP payment runs
  • Assist in continuos improvements to ensure efficiency

Key Criteria:

  • Knowledge and experience of UK and EMEA payroll processing
  • Experience of using ADP and SAP - not essential
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ideally from a Financial/Professional Services background
  • Payroll Accounting: Recs and Journals
  • Attention to detail and an analytical mindset
  • Strong communications skill set internal/external
