HR Business Partner - 14-15 month FTC - Remote and office working (Hounslow/ Heathrow)

Role - a very business partnering role:

  • HR projects
  • Employee Relations (not a heavy but mostly the escalated complex cases)
  • Oversee payroll is processed correctly
  • Generalist HR - end to end - policies, advisory, coaching, recruitment, performance management

Description

HR Business Partner - 14-15 month FTC - Remote and office working (Hounslow/ Heathrow)

Overall Responsibility: To provide a professional, internal consultancy service to the business, partnering on a range of human resources activities covering the entire employee lifecycle.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

Advise, coach and partner line managers on all aspects of people management and development

  • Partner line managers on all people related processes including performance management, discipline and grievance, employee relations issues and change management
  • Support the HR Manager in the execution and delivery of key HR priorities
  • Work with the HR Assistant on the production of offer letters, contracts and general correspondence as required
  • Counsel employees in relation to all HR related matters including maternity, paternity, shared parental leave, flexible working
  • Administration and coordination of employee benefits including collation of information required for renewals
  • Pensions administration in line with the requirements of Auto Enrolment
  • Management of monthly payroll activities in conjunction with external providers
  • Coordination and support of all annual review processes such as salary review, bonus, performance appraisal
  • In conjunction with the HR Assistant, partner the business in all recruitment activities including agency liaison, screening of CV's, interview and selection

Support L&D activities including training needs analysis and sourcing of providers

  • Generate and distribute accurate monthly reports to Senior Management
  • Participate and contribute to all HR projects as required
  • Collate and provide accurate employee data as part of due diligence process for acquisitions and tenders
  • Manage and monitor Induction and Probationary Period Assessments
  • Manage on-boarding process for starters, including right to work and DBS Checks
  • Monitor and update HR policies in line with legislation
  • Manage ISO9001 Quality Standard for HR
  • Support the HR Manager in the delivery of all change related initiatives
  • Conduct job evaluation and salary benchmarking as required
  • Support the HR Manager in international matters as required

Profile

HR Business Partner - 14-15 month FTC - Remote and office working (Hounslow/ Heathrow)

Qualifications, experience & type of individual required:

Essential:

  • Graduate calibre or equivalent
  • CIPD qualification/working towards CIPD qualification
  • Experience of working in an HR department within a multi-site, global organisation
  • Proven experience within a generalist role
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and experience of researching areas where gaps in knowledge exist
  • Initiative to resolve queries and issues
  • Strong experience of dealing with all aspects of employee relations
  • Strong MS Office skills and a good aptitude for systems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate professionally at all levels
  • Effective coaching and facilitation skills
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex matters
  • Organised, methodical approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and conflicting demands
  • Ability to work independently when required
  • Numerate and able to manage, present and interpret key data

Desirable:

  • Experience of supporting international teams
  • Experience of payroll management
  • Experience of HRIS systems development
  • Languages
