Client Details

A well respected organisation based in West Sussex are seeking a Learning & Development Specialist on a permanent basis.


As Learning & Development Specialist you will be:

  • Assisting the Learning and Organisational Development Manager and Learning and Development Business Partner to deliver organisational requirements for mandatory training and other L&D needs of individual staff and managers
  • Developing creative and engaging L&D training programmes and workshops for staff
  • Designing, delivering and evaluating a rolling programme of L&D training and refresher training in line with the organisational-wide learning and development plan
  • Ensuring that staff development reflects the needs of the business and relevant legislation and applicable Regulatory requirements
  • Assisting the Learning & Organisational Development Manager and Learning & Development Business Partner to develop systems to monitor the quality of the programme/training and ensure that staff competency is assessed as part of the training process
  • Ensuring that the learning management system is updated with attendance and other relevant data in a timely manner
  • Evaluating the quality of existing internal and external training programmes to maximise learner experience and capability development
  • Providing cover and support for other Trainers if required and where demand is identified
  • Attending training where learning and development is identified or required


Our client is interested in knowledge of:

  • The training cycle within L&D
  • Communication with stakeholders
  • Using E-Learning systems
  • Powerpoint to prepare and deliver presentations
  • Attending different sites to run training
