Payroll Controller / Brighton / Finance / HR / Interim
A well respected Brighton based organisation are seeking a seeking a Payroll Controller on a fixed term contract basis.
As Payroll Controller you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the payroll system, uploading new employee data as well as starters/leavers.
- Preparing monthly payrolls
- Payroll journals
- Liaising with different departments to ensure all data is correct as well as maintaining relationships.
- Finance tasks such as reconciliations, compliance and HMRC queries.
- Ad hoc support to Payroll department and greater finance team
- Assist with the Payroll and HR Teams in processes and improvements and implementations of HR Workflow processes
Previous payroll processing knowledge using computerised payroll systems.
Available to start at short notice.
Ability to use Excel.
£23-26,000 FTE + benefits
