HR Manager with sound experience of Generalist HR and managing/developing a small team. You will have a track record of developing a high-performing HR service.

Description

As HR Manager you will lead a small team and report directly to the HR Director. You will be responsible for all Generalist HR activities as well as managing and developing your team. Key areas of responsibility include:

- Coaching and supporting line managers on the full range of people-related topics.
- Providing advice and guidance on Employee relations including sickness, return to work etc and developing a proactive approach to absence management.
- Overseeing the L&D budget.
- Responsible for developing and overseeing employee engagement initiatives.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and ongoing development of policy and procedures, ensuring best practice.
- Overseeing the payroll process.
- Management of visa allocation and process.

Profile

To be considered for this exciting HR Manager role, you will have existing and proven experience as an HR Generalist where you have managed and developed a team (and have a passion for this).

You will have the potential for further development and growth as No 2 to the HR Director.

Excellent relationship building skills as well as proven experience of coaching line managers.

A flexible, pragmatic approach and the ability to think creatively and spot opportunities for ongoing development improvement of HR.

Job Offer

Up to £46,000 per annum + bonus
