This HR Advisor role will work closely with HR Business Partner to prioritise HR deliverables and to ensure seamless delivery. This Banbury based role will support delivery on a range of HR initiatives centred around Culture, Talent and Leadership. They will assist, coordinate, and support the delivery of the people strategy and provide 1st line employee relations support to the business and be integral to our continual quest for process improvement.

This leading organisations Human Resources and personnel department are looking for a proactive and commercial minded HR Advisor keen to progress. The team have a great high performance culture which is match by the organisation and therefore due to the involvement in the business with a drive to add value with the HR Business partners this role is 5 days per week on site in Banbury

Description

HR Advisor Key Accountabilities and Duties

 

  • Helps to be the custodian of our unique high performance culture in what and how things are done
  • Answers 1st line employee relations queries aligned to policies and aligning to values
  • Produce easy simple guides/templates that managers love
  • Builds rapport with key stakeholders around the business to help provide a quality experience
  • Coaches managers and employees on HR policy, practice and employment legislation in a way that is easy to understand and jargon free
  • Manages Employee Relations cases in full - including note taking and creating case pack (with guidance from the HR Business Partner)
  • Helps to champion the Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing Agendas
  • Navigates the engagement dashboard to help find the golden nuggets - those key changes that can be made to drive engagement even higher
  • Keeps track of the competitors and brings to HRBPs attention people intelligence
  • Contributes to HR thought leadership and brings ideas and suggestions to the table
  • Helps the HRBP to help our Leaders to stay focused by ensuring People Plans are up to date
  • Pulls together regular data on key measures for business areas and produces the business area People Pack with pride

Profile

HR Advisor experience and characteristics;

  • Experience in the HR generalist space
  • CIPD qualified or a Degree or equivalent experience
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law
  • High level of communication skills both verbal and written is essential
  • Proven ability to plan and implement projects/initiatives
  • Analytical skills: quickly evaluates data / situations and reaches conclusions
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
  • Isn't afraid to bring new ideas to the table to make change happen
  • Ability to work with appropriate attention to detail and high standards, whilst still working at pace
  • Degree or equivalent experience
