I am currently supporting a Local Government organisation based in North London with recruitment of an experienced Recruitment to join their Resourcing team.
Your new role
You will be reporting into the Recruitment Business Manager, responsible for supporting the development and delivery of a first class, inclusive and innovative in-house recruitment service to the Council. Building strong relationships with the Hiring Managers and candidate communities.
The role will ultimately be responsible for the attraction and recruitment of high-quality candidates by effectively utilising innovative attraction strategies including Social Media, the Councils careers pages, targeted job boards, events via the Councils applicant tracking system job posting and talent pool functionality.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of directly managing high volume and specialist permanent vacancies, gained either in-house or in a complex permanent recruitment agency or RPO environment
- Experience in candidate attraction strategies particularly social media and other professional networks
- Experience with writing inclusive job descriptions, job adverts, pre-screening / skills-matching, interview, to attract a diverse pool of candidates
- Children and Adults Social Services recruitment experience would be beneficial
