Accounts Office Manager
Ashley Kate HR & Finance are recruiting for an Accounts Office Manager in Wrexham. The salary for this is £29,000.
This is a full time, permanent role where you will provide the full Sales Ledger admin function, Accounts Payable team supervision, bank processing / reconciliation, full month-end support and ad-hoc reporting to the Group Financial Controller.
Raising all invoices, updating Sales-Ledger daybooks.
Entering cash receipts and maintaining filing of invoices on system
Query resolution, liaison with customer service, month end sales ledger reconciliation
Collaboration with company credit controller over aged debt issues and analysis
Supervision of 1 full-time and 1 part-time Purchase Ledger clerk to verify the full matching and invoice entry process is performed in a timely manner.
Ensuring day-books are balanced and complete and all BACS payments are processed and reconciled
Raising and processing payments through the banks, cash receipt allocation
Bank A/c reconciliations and journaling of all transactions to the ledgers
Dealing with all aspects of Invoice Discounting with the factoring bank, including uploading invoices, daily postings, reconciliation with full audit compliance
Other Financial Duties / Office Management / Ad-Hoc
Providing support for the completion of quarterly VAT returns, export compliance.
Misc month-end journaling, Inter-Company cash transfers and processing any currency exchange differences.
Assisting and liaising with all External auditors.
Ability to prioritise tasks, meet all reporting / processing deadlines, work with minimal supervision, and have a flexible attitude to getting the job done.
Good computing (MS Excel and Accounting systems software), written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate and maintain a high attention to detail and accuracy and have a strong technical knowledge of accounts processes and procedures.
Ideally AAT qualified
