Senior HR Advisor - Crewe
*this role requires the successful candidate to travel to the other sites in the surrounding areas of Crewe as well as a monthly trip to Scotland. There will the be the opportunity to work from home two days a week in this position.
A permanent Senior HR Advisor role to be based in Crewe. Our client is looking for a HR generalist to join their busy team which reports to the Head of HR. This role is supported by a HR Advisor and the role will cover all the full generalist arena including ER and working on ad hoc projects. The Senior HR Advisor will guide and mentor the Advisor in the team as well as leading on all operational duties including talent, performance reviews, TUPE, succession planning and ER.
We are seeking a HR Advisor who has proven career history working in a generalist position and had experience in a multi-site role:.
Duties:
- Ensure all employee relations and change programmes across the business area are managed effectively
- Act as the first point of contact for all HR operational matters
- Support all managers on employee matters - Recruitment, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management
- Build strong relationships with the senior leadership team
- Update and lead on HR systems and maintain all HR records
- Assist on performance reviews in the business and coach all managers within your business unit
- Design formal training for managers
We are looking for a HR Advisor who has strong employment law experience, an ability to coach the HR team as well as the leadership team. Ideally you would have received your level 3 CIPD or working towards Level 5 at this moment in time.
