Permanent contract

Inspired Learning Group is a growing group of independent preparatory schools and nurseries in South-East England. We take great pride in each one of them, supporting them enthusiastically in the achievement of excellence. We are looking to recruit an experienced Talent Attraction Manager to join our growing and ambitious schools’ business based in Stanmore to set up our first internal resourcing function.

As our Talent Attraction Manager, you be engaging with universities, colleges, apprenticeship organisations and experienced professionals to develop talent pools and pipelines as well as advertising roles via social media, such as LinkedIn and jobs boards to attract and select candidates to join us as Head teachers, teachers, nursery teachers as well finding strong professionals for our head office teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Establishing the internal resourcing function for ILG, you will be a crucial part of our team. You will also be responsible for managing the recruitment life cycle, from the start of the process writing job descriptions and adverts through to the offering and inducting stages, paying specific attention to attaining references, DBS, and additional onboarding documents to ensure compliance. We will also rely on you to develop sourcing techniques on LinkedIn, networking with local groups and social media platforms to build a talent pipeline, utilising technology to keep in contact with these talent communities. The responsibility of the development of a workforce plan to ensure we have a pipeline of talent for our schools and nurseries covering the next six months to three years will also fall to you. You will also need to maintain excellent relationships with our hiring managers, candidates and our external partners.

About you:

Ideally a graduate with at least three years’ experience in managing the recruitment lifecycle and one year working in a school or nursery environment, you will have extensive knowledge of online sourcing and networking methods, strategies and candidate management tools and techniques. You will also have experience of building talent pools and pipelines, with the ability to keep talented professionals engaged and connected with Inspired Learning Group. More important however, is being resilient and highly organised, with excellent attention to detail, relationship management and communication skills. The ability to deliver results with little supervision, and effectively manage multiple searches/projects and candidates at once will be important too.

What do you get in return for your hard work?

In addition to playing an important role in a growing business that’s financially strong and has an ambitious growth agenda, you will receive a competitive salary and annual salary review. There will also be ample professional development and training opportunities, including ongoing coaching from the management team, with the prospect of career and salary progression as our business grows. Other benefits include:

  • Childcare fee discount
  • A stakeholder Pension scheme
  • Holiday allowance of 28 days inclusive of bank holiday, increasing with service after the first year, rising to 33 days after 5 years’ service
  • Refer a friend scheme up to £750
  • A comprehensive health cash plan
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Westfield rewards (discounts from various high street and online outlets)

Above all, you will benefit from being part of a fun, supportive and creative team.
