6 month Temp to poss perm Senior HR Officer position - Croydon - Home and office working

Generalist Human Resources

  • Maintain relationships with internal and external recruitment partners and support the UK recruiting managers.
  • Support the employee life cycle through EBS and ensure accurate records are maintained, assist with EBS user queries where necessary
  • Assist Senior Leaders to drive performance through people by delivering services in employee relations, performance management and data analysis
  • Guide the Annual performance conversation process and advise on process where required
  • Assist Senior Leaders in the Performance Improvement Plans as and when required
  • Guide the business by ensuring that people, diversity and policy are forefront to decisions made
  • Deliver professional support in all aspects of absence management, periods of leave and annual leave allowances, including maternity/paternity assessments
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Manage the onboarding process ensuring contracts are raised, inductions are prepared, references obtained, successful probationary period is reviewed
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all teams across the HR division both locally and globally
  • Remain up to date on all aspects of UK employment legislation and advise where required
  • Support and advise on IR35 regulations
  • Process leavers and advise on board reports and headcount/ turnover figures, ensuring Exit interviews are undertaken and reviewed
  • Manage the HR and Recruitment email boxes on a daily basis, in collaboration with the HR Team
  • Ensure all HR filing is up to date and that right to work documentation is correct and up to date
  • Assist with any HR projects, as instructed by the HR Team, for example but not limited to IR35, Brexit, Integration, organisational change, Employment Tribunals, DSAR requests

Profile

  • Proven experience of supporting a variety of business units
  • Ability to project a positive, welcoming and professional attitude at all times
  • Able to work as part as a team and collaboratively and co-operatively
  • Competency in MS Office, PowerPoint, SharePoint are desired
  • Experience in a similar role is essential, ideally gained in professional services
  • Attention to detail, diligent at all times and a proactive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good presentation skills desired
  • Educated degree level or equivalent desired
  • Personable approach and a 'can do' attitude are essential
  • Ability to establish rapport and good working relationships within the project team and Client
