Temporary HR Generalist

Your new company
The need for a temporary HR Advisor to join a small HR team within a public sector organisation has arisen due to a period of absence within the team. It is expected, that this temporary role will last between 2-3 months. Currently, the organisation are working remotely, but shortly, their Hybrid arrangement will be live, therefore you will need to be commutable to Didcot, South Oxfordshire and will be required to spend some time in the office.

Your new role
This is a broad HR generalist role, you will support on matters ranging from Employee Relations, Recruitment, Project work and day to day Operational issues too. You will support and coach managers, handle queries from employees and provide information and advice when needed. This is a small HR team, so there will be times where you will be needed to pick up work outside of the standard job description in order to help the wider team.

What you'll need to succeed
My client is looking for a solid HR generalist who could turn their hand to anything needed over the next few months. The role has a fair bit of HR Administration, so someone who is organised, methodical and can pick up processes quickly would be a huge advantage. Ideally, you will be CIPD Level 5 qualified, but this is not essential if you have a strong HR background.
