Lleolir y swydd ar ein Campws y Rhondda a bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn ymuno â ni mewn swydd sy’n llawn amser ac yn barhaol ac yn derbyn nifer o fuddion a chyflog cystadleuol o £39402 i £46248 y flwyddyn. Bydd yr ymgeisydd delfrydol yn hyderus wrth gynnig cyngor o safon ar bolisi a phrosesau yn ymwneud â Phobl; creu cysylltiadau â rhanddeiliaid allweddol gyda’r gallu i integreiddio'n ddi-dor â'u maes cyfrifoldeb busnes. Lleolir y swydd yn yr Adran Pobl a Diwylliant a byddwch yn gweithio’n agos gyda Chyfarwyddwr Pobl a Diwylliant wrth greu a gweithredu cynlluniau adrannol. Hefyd, bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn arwain ar ddadansoddeg pobl a datblygu a chynllunio sefydliadol. O'r herwydd, mae angen i'r ymgeisydd delfrydol fod yn bragmatig ac yn meddu ar ymagwedd at weithio sy'n canolbwyntio ar atebion. Hefyd, mae meddu ar farn gadarn yn allweddol i lwyddiant y rôl hon.

Mae gennym gyfle cyffrous i Bartner Busnes ymuno â'n Tîm Pobl a Diwylliant arobryn. Lleolir y swydd ar Gampws y Rhondda a bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn ymuno â ni mewn swydd sy’n llawn amser ac yn barhaol ac yn derbyn nifer o fuddion a chyflog cystadleuol o £24243 i £26622 y flwyddyn. Bydd yr ymgeisydd delfrydol yn hyderus wrth gefnogi swyddogaeth graidd ‘Pobl’ nifer o dimau ar draws y coleg. Bydd gofyn i'r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus fod yn rhugl yn y Gymraeg a byddant yn cefnogi agenda’r Gymraeg yn y coleg. O'r herwydd, bydd yr ymgeisydd delfrydol yn uchelgeisiol, yn weithgar ac yn angerddol am hyrwyddo arfer da. 

Y SEFYDLIAD 

Mae'n gyfnod cyffrous iawn i Goleg y Cymoedd - mae canlyniadau dysgwyr wedi gwella’n sylweddol, gydag enghreifftiau o ymarfer sy’n arwain y sector mewn rhai ysgolion, a rhaglenni academaidd a galwedigaethol yn ennill canlyniadau sy’n cydfynd â’r cymaryddion cenedlaethol. Rydym wedi buddsoddi’n sylweddol yn yr ystâd gan gynnwys dau gampws newydd yn Aberdâr a Nantgarw a nifer o ganolfannau rhagoriaeth sy'n benodol i ddiwydiant arbennig, a gefnogir gan ystod o gyflogwyr proffil uchel.  

Ni fyddai llwyddiant y coleg yn bosibl heb ymroddiad ac ymrwymiad ein gweithwyr ac mae'r tîm Pobl a Diwylliant yn gweithio'n galed i sicrhau bod Coleg y Cymoedd yn lle da i weithio. Cydnabuwyd hyn drwy amryw wobrau ac anrhydeddau, gan gynnwys Buddsoddwyr mewn Pobl (IIP), Safon Iechyd Corfforaethol Iechyd Cyhoeddus Cymru a rhestr 100 Cyflogwr Gorau Stonewall ar gyfer Cydraddoldeb LHDT.

Mae Campws y Rhondda, Llwynypia, oddeutu 15 milltir i'r gogledd o Gaerdydd. Mae'n hawdd cyrraedd y campws mewn car, ar fws neu ar drên. Mae'r Rhondda yn rhan o Fwrdeistref Sirol Rhondda Cynon Taf ac mae'n enwog am hanes ei byllau glo. Nid yw’r campws yn bell o dref Treorci, a enillodd y wobr Stryd Fawr y Flwyddyn 2020. I'r rhai sydd am adleoli, mae gan y Rhondda brisiau tai fforddiadwy iawn hefyd.

THE POSITION 

POST 1 – ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF PEOPLE AND CULTURE 

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director to join our award-winning People and Culture team. Based at our Rhondda Campus, the successful candidate will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and will receive a number of benefits and a competitive salary of £39402 to £46248 per annum. The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering quality advice on People policy and processes, building a rapport with key stake holders with the ability to integrate seamlessly with their business area of responsibility. Based within the Department of People and Culture, you will closely with the Director of People and Culture in creating and implementing departmental plans. The successful candidate would also lead on people analytics and organisational development and design. As such, the ideal candidate needs to be pragmatic and have a solution focussed approach to working.  Having sound judgement is also key to the success of this role. 

POST 2 – BUSINESS PARTNER – PEOPLE AND CULTURE (WELSH SPEAKING) 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Partner to join our award-winning People and Culture Team. Based on the Rhondda Campus, the successful candidate will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and will receive a number of benefits and a competitive salary of £24243 to £26622 per annum. The ideal candidate will be confident in supporting the core people function of a number of teams across the college. The successful candidate will be required to be a fluent in Welsh and will support the Welsh agenda of the college. As such, the ideal candidate will be ambitious, hardworking and passionate about promoting good practice.

It is a very exciting time for Coleg y Cymoedd – outcomes for learners have improved significantly, with examples of sector leading practice in some schools, and both academic and vocational programmes achieving outcomes in line with national comparators. THE LOCATION  

Rhondda Campus (with flexibility to work for part of the week from other campuses.) 

Rhondda Campus, Llwynypia is approximately 15 miles north of Cardiff. The campus is easily accessible by car, bus or train. The Rhondda forms part of Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough and is most noted for its historical coal-mining history. The campus is only a short drive from Treorchy, the 2020 award winning High Street of the Year. For those looking to relocate, the Rhondda also has very affordable housing prices.   

POST 1 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

To assist the Director of People & Culture is creating and implementing departmental plans, which involves identifying departmental / college needs and establishing plans of action. 

KEY REQUIREMENTS  

  • Qualified to HR Degree level or Level 5 CIPD 
  • Experience of working within a People and Culture (HR) Team 
  • An understanding of current employment legislation 
  • Experience of people analytics or organisational development and design 

POST 2 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

The Business Partner will work as part of the People and Culture team and provide a comprehensive advisory service to managers and colleagues regarding contractual, legal, policy and best practice people management requirements.  

KEY REQUIREMENTS  

  • Qualified to Level 3 CIPD 
  • Experience of working within a People & Culture (HR) Team 
  • Fluent Welsh Speaker
