Your new role
An important newly created role to future proof the business skills, you will will propose, design, develop and oversee the delivery of a range of initiatives that will build strengths in required areas that directly underpin the business strategy. You will engage with the business to refine our view of the most critical strategic skills needs and gaps as well as draw on deep experience of modern learning methodologies. The job holder will identify ways of assessing and measuring the growth of key strategic skills and capabilities across the business. In partnership with SMEs and HRBPs they will deploy these assessments to identify gaps and agree directions
What you'll need to succeed
With a background in L&D in complex, matrix businesses, you will be able to demonstrate a solid understanding of competencies, skills and skills development. You will have experience in driving organisation-wide work around upskilling and reskilling as well as proven experience in building and delivering development approaches and programmes to transform organisational skills at scale. Commercial in your approach you will have proven experience working with a wide array of modern and traditional L&D tools and methodologies and able to create the right blend of approaches to deliver great learner experiences that really develop new skillsets. Being quick to influence and engage at a senior level is essential.
