You’re a Human Resources professional, in the true sense of the word. You’re an expert in employee relations and you’re well-versed in best-practice people management. Promoting a healthy, diverse and inclusive culture is what you thrive on. So, are you ready to see what more you can do? Join FCDO Services: a diverse organisation offering everything from embassy construction to cyber security to diplomatic deliveries, for governments worldwide.

Bring casework experience to complex situations

With colleagues across skillsets and continents, our Employee Relations casework can be complex, but you’re up to the task. You’ll develop the strategies that help us support colleagues and manage financial and reputation risk. Whether it’s employment tribunals, health, or engaging trade unions, you’ll drive your team to provide a prompt, efficient service. A knowledgeable leader, your depth of experience will inspire the whole team to keep learning, improving, and aiming for new heights.

Support diversity that takes us all further

Diversity is always at the forefront of your mind, so you’ll be the perfect ally to the team that leads our D&I strategy. You’ll support in every way you can, keeping the strategy at heart as you manage the provision of our Mediation Service, Harassment Advisor Network and Nominated Officers. Crucially, you’ll work closely with others to find new ways to foster a healthy, diverse and inclusive workforce. Whether it’s establishing new cross-business networks, raising awareness of our policies and ethical code, or putting on events that promote us as an inclusive employer of choice, you’ll be active in helping us be more consciously inclusive every day.

Nurture the team that supports our worldwide network

At the same time, you’ll take care of the needs of the HR team behind it all. You’ll ensure that our procedures and systems enable your colleagues to do their best possible work. So that, in turn, they’re able to help colleagues across the business. Managing conflicting priorities and timelines, you’ll get involved in a range of HR projects and initiatives to help create an efficient, inclusive, supported workforce. As well as experience of casework, employment law and managing a quality service, you’ll bring your CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent experience) to do the best job you can. In short? It’s your job – bigger.

All our employees have to be security cleared before being appointed, so you will need to undergo a vetting process as part of your application. This role requires you to go through Security Clearance Vetting (SC). You can find out more about vetting on our website.

It takes a diverse team to protect a diverse world.

The vital work we do takes an incredible community of colleagues, with different skills, backgrounds, cultures and identities. We support every individual, so that you always know you’re welcome and valued. It’s what makes us a Disability Confident employer. And a Stonewall Diversity Champion. And Employers for Carers. And it’s how you know you’re joining an inspiring, inclusive organisation.
