We are delighted to be retained by a global Private Equity business to find them a Compensation & Benefits Manager. Reporting into the HR Director, this interesting and varied role will be to look after their global populations will have three distinct areas of responsibility; 1) Compensation: lead the year-end cash compensation process (bonus and salary reviews), conduct annual and ad-hoc benchmarking of compensation and report findings to the HR Business Partners and Head of HR, ensure regulatory compliance of current compensation practices and implement processes and practices determined by new regulatory requirements. 2) Benefits: manage the relationships with external brokers regarding the implementation and maintenance of all employee benefit programs including but not limited to: private medical, dental insurance, group life and critical illness insurance, pension, travel insurance, Employee Assistance Programme, wellbeing allowance. Review the benefits in each location ensuring consistency of programs and compliance with statutory requirements and manage the communication of benefits to employees through various channels (e.g. new joiner documents, intranet page). 3) Payroll: manage two Payroll Specialists (based in London and Germany), check and sign-off of monthly Payroll, partner with Finance to ensure adequate funding for all payments and ensure tax and social security payments are made to local authorities in accordance with regulatory requirements. Review and implement improvements to the payroll process leveraging their new system Cloud based system and oversee the Payroll specialists during the annual payroll audit. As a result the business is looking to meet Compensation & Benefit Managers or even an experienced Payroll Manager with a keen interest in (and some exposure to) Compensation & Benefits who have a natural affinity of total reward and have previous supervisory experience of a payroll function or persons (Pan-European, multi-party payroll supervisory experience is essential). This role will be based in London (Bond Street) but with a commitment to hybrid working for at least another two years (possibly forever) there will be a 1-2 days from home, 3 -4 days in the office. In addition to the above starting salary, the firm offer a substantial end of year bonus (up to 40% of salary) 30 days holiday, plus the usual health, medical and retirement benefits.
