HR Advisor 12 month FTC £33,000 Per annum

Your new company
My client are a national logistics provider with sites throughout the UK and a main depot based in Crewe. Following recent contract wins, they now have a need to strengthen their HR offering with the hire of an experienced HR Advisor to be based at their Crewe site with regular national travel.

Your new role
As HR Advisor, you will responsible for the delivery of a full generalist remit of HR services, with a particular focus on recruitment and employee relations matters. You will provide advice and support to employees, managers and the HR Administration team on a range of employment related matters whilst taking a proactive approach to reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the daily operation of the HR Function, working with the HR Business Partner to upskill and enhance the HR Service offering to the business.

You will ensure the legal and ethical compliance of policies and practices, escalating as appropriate to the HR Business Partner. Support and assist with other activities undertaken by the HR Team as required.

What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be CIPD level 5 qualified or equivalent with Multi site experience desirable. You must have experience working with Unions and have experience of working with multiple and complex terms and conditions.

The role will be primarily based in Crewe with weekly travel to other sites in the south of the UK and other UK depots as and when required. Full expenses will be paid for any travel required, including overnight stays.

What you'll get in return
The role attracts a salary of up to 33k plus expenses and an excellent benefits package. Some flexibility can be offered around the working hours if required. This is a full time role and requires somebody who is prepared to travel on a weekly basis.
