Ashley Kate are delighted to be supporting a leading business as they look to recruit for an interim HR Advisor for 12 months, covering maternity leave. This is a full time role based in Liverpool, with a hybrid approach working in the office and working remotely. salary up to £32k depending on experience.
The main purpose of the role is to provide a generalist and operational HR advice to support the business. You will be responsible for liaising with line managers to manage and coordinate a high level of ER casework, including absence management, disciplinaries and grievances.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
·Supporting line managers and employees in the fair and consistent application of HR policies.
·Contributing to and delivering key projects alongside the wider HR population.
·Managing Employee Relation issues across a broad range of topics including absence management, disciplinary and grievances. Ensuring commercial awareness, consistency and fairness are key in any decision making.
·Supporting and coaching line managers to conduct appropriate investigations. Ensuring all investigation reports are accurate and detailed.
·Managing employee relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing stakeholder expectations, including trade union representatives.
We are looking for:
·Significant experience working at a HR Advisor level, dealing with the full spectrum of ER issues and cases, up to and including dismissals.
·The ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload effectively.
·CIPD qualified or working towards.
·Excellent knowledge of employment legislation.
·Experience of working in a fast paced environment, ideally manufacturing or similar industries.
