We are The Hospice of St Francis, a charity that helps people throughout Hertfordshire and South Buckinghamshire to live their precious lives well by improving symptoms, achieving personal goals and helping them to feel safe.

We are currently looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join us on a full-time basis.

The Role

As a Human Resources Administrator, you will provide effective support to the HR team, undertaking operational and administrative activities across the HR function.

In this varied role, you will support the entire employee lifecycle, assisting with recruitment, inductions, payroll, role development and change, absence management and staff leavers. You will also be responsible for first-line HR related queries, both in person and via email.

Additionally, you will:

- Help increase our performance and employee engagement

- Partake in regular team meetings and virtual link-ups with our CEO

- Assist with the development of our HR database

About You

To join us as a Human Resources Administrator, you will need:

- Strong administration skills and the ability to manage your own workload to achieve deadlines

- Experience in data entry and database maintenance and reporting

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills using a variety of media, tools, social media

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to drive multiple projects concurrently

- A confidential and professional approach as well as the ability to display integrity and command respect

- Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

-The ability to build strong working relationships

Previous HR experience would be preferred. Experience of liaising with agencies and other organisations including with internal and external candidates would be beneficial.

The closing date for applications is Thursday 12th August 2021 with interviews scheduled for Tuesday 17th August 2021.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.
