HR Assistant job with CIPD study support, Wakefield based.

Your new role
Supporting the senior leadership team as HR Assistant you will be involved in the full generalist remit of HR activities including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development coordination, employee lifecycle administration and absence management. You will cover all aspects of HR administration and coordination, including providing sound advice, guidance and support to line managers on aspects of HR policy. You will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders at a variety of levels, including senior management and you will have the full support of your line Manager and retained HR employment law consultants.
What you'll need to succeed
To be effective in this role, you will have previous HR experience, having worked in a small HR team and having experienced a variety of HR administrative and coordination tasks previously. You will understand and have experience of working with GDPR and confidentiality. You will have excellent communication skills and deal with people with compassion and care. Ideally you will have, or be working towards, a CIPD level 3 or 5 qualification, but this isn't as important as relevant work experience in HR.
