Oakleaf are working with a successful property development business to hire a People Team Co-ordinatorwho will oversee all aspects of administration and co-ordination in the day to day running of the People Team. Also, which is really exciting- you will co-ordinate all DEI, Recruitment, and L&D actvities.

The recently appointed People Director is progressive and forward thinking and has been tasked with setting a new tone for how the firm approaches and manages people within the business. The People Co-ordinator with work closely with the People Director and People Manager and will be given the opportunity to contribute to new projects and share their passion and ideas for innovation and progressive ways of working in all aspects of HR.

Specifically, you will:

-Provide day to day support to all colleagues and act as first line point of contact for all general queries

-Provide support on all DEI intiatives and activities

- Provide support on all learning and development activities

- Monitor and manage incoming queries into the People Team inbox, responding where possible and escalating where necessary

- Manage starter / leaver process

- Under the supervision of the People Manager, administer monthly payroll process and assist with the administration of benefits provided to colleagues and deal with queries

- Monitor and update the People Team database

- Assist with annual / quarterly cycles such as QCIs, salary and bonus reviews, and promotions

-Provide support on all DEI intiatives and activities

- Provide support on all learning and development activities

Skills required:

-Previous generalist HR administrative experience within a People Team function

-Understands HR processes and procedures including payroll

-Independent thinker, proactive and highly organised

-Strong attention to detail

-Excellent interpersonal skills

-A very high degree of discretion and confidentiality

-Team player who deals effectively with colleagues and stakeholders

-Appetite to learn and develop skills and knowledge
