This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join this unionised Education provider based in Sheffield.

I'm delighted to be partnering an Education provider based in South Yorkshire.

Description

As part of HR SLT the HR Manager is jointly responsible for:

  • Supporting the HR Director to deliver strategic projects against the HR delivery plan and organisation strategic priorities;
  • Delivering efficient and effective HR Services across the Trust; ensuring legal compliance and procedural consistency across HR practices.
  • Understanding customer requirements and priorities through partnering with key customers and stakeholders, and establishing associated KPI, data and MI requirements at function level.
  • Driving the use of formal continuous improvement processes to improve process efficiency and effectiveness and reach customer delivery and satisfaction targets.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have the following background:

* Strong employee relations and change management background, ideally within a mix of sectors, with a proven track record of leading negotiations and consultation at NJCC level.
* Ability to understand the complexities of education and how to work effectively within a political and unionised environment.
* Understand how to apply and interpret employment law in a range of complex work situations, prepare and manage case disputes and mitigate risk.
* Developing and applying people policies which improve the worker experience and employer brand and mitigate risk.
* Experience of transforming and leading HRA services across a multi-site, regulated and unionised environment.
* Developing and reviewing employee relations frameworks to support a culture of effective consultation and negotiation, which are resolution-focused and improve business outcomes.
* Have strong experience of driving business improvement and efficiency through development of KPIs and commercial analysis.
