A rapidly growing financial management consulting firm are recruiting for an HR Manager to join their team. This newly created role will work closely with the leadership team to build their people capability and deliver a people plan. As HR Manager, key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as first point of contacts for employee advice and queries
  • HR Planning and strategy - ongoing development of people strategy and engagement, development and implementation of people plan, developing and improving company culture
  • Employee relations - maintaining technical knowledge to ensure legal compliance
  • Recruitment - supporting Directors in recruitment of new talent, ensuring ongoing process review and improvement
  • Resourcing - managing weekly process of aligning delivery resources to projects
  • Performance management - overseeing process to assess and review individual performance, supporting in setting objectives
  • Employee engagement - establishing and operating ongoing programmes of engagement
  • Training and development - developing training strategy and aligning individual development plans, company strategies and ambitions
  • Payroll and records - managing internal files, records and processes, liaising with outsourced provider, identifying adjustments
  • Reward and benefits - regular reviews of salary and benefits packages, managing communication and documentation of bonuses and changes to benefits arrangements as required
  • H&S - ensuring appropriate policies and processes in operation to adhere to Health and Safety at work legislation and ensuring a safe and pleasant work environment

As HR Manager, you will possess:

  • CIPD membership and good knowledge of up to date HR approaches and thinking
  • Business Partnering experience, ideally within a Professional Services environment
  • 7+ years' experience within HR
  • Experience developing talent within professional specialisms
  • Experience of ensuring accurate and timely payroll, including liaising with outsourced provider
