Description

Supporting the EMEA ex-UK Benefits Manager with:

  • Strategic advice on the firm's pension, benefit and wellness programmes for all non-UK offices within the region
  • Advising local HR colleagues on effective implementation of these programmes including drafting employee communications
  • Advising local HR colleagues on the ongoing management of these programmes including annual insurance renewals
  • Developing the programmes and related employment policies to ensure they remain relevant, in line with our global benefits philosophy, local legislation and tax requirements, market practice and business / employee needs
  • Working with finance and local HR colleagues on the annual benefits budget process
  • Working with other HR functional areas such as compensation, expatriate services, employee relations when needed
  • Monitoring key risks across the regional plans (e.g. operational risks, legal changes)
  • Providing support to the broader pensions and benefits team as required

Profile

  • Strong Benefits background
  • Ideally good experience with pensions
  • EMEA experience is benefit
  • Strong team player with excellent organizational and project management skills, used to managing varied priorities in a high paced environment, with ability to take ownership of projects, and be proactive
  • Relationship builder with strong influencing skills -- an effective communicator who is able to influence decision-making and is comfortable working at all levels internally and externally
  • Flexible outlook and approach to work across different locations and cultures
  • Analytical -- a problem solver with ability to make decisions with high attention to detail and based on a thorough understanding of the relevant facts
  • Desire to learn new skills and take on new challenges
  • Strong focus on risk management
