A diverse and entrepreneurial international SME Asset Management company is looking for a Head of HR UK for a 12 month FTC. Managing a team of four, you will be responsible for devising and implementing the UK People Strategy to ensure the company meets their business objectives. Salary: £90000 - £110000 plus bonus and benefits

Accountabilities:

  • Leading the HR team, driving and supporting priorities and workflow to ensure the company hits their business objectives
  • Working closely with the Senior Leadership team and utilise key data in order to advise them on a commercially focused HR & People Strategy, influencing them on the best course of action
  • Promoting change initiatives, a performance culture, and continuously reviewing productivity and employee development
  • Providing data analysis and insights company wide on areas such staff turnover, cost per hire etc
  • Implementing and overseeing the recruitment strategy, responsibility for the HR budget and leading on special projects
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements
  • Working closely with Compliance and Senior Management to ensure employees are performing to the best of their potential
  • Giving counsel and overseeing complex employee relations issues
  • Coordinating and advising senior management on remuneration policies and staff salaries based on external benchmarks
  • Establishing and implementing policies and initiatives across the various HR functions

Skills and Experience

  • You must have gained the above Head of HR experience within Asset Management or Financial Services
  • You must have experience of working for an international SME and also used to working in a matrixed environment
  • Leading Payround experience is essential
  • Demonstrate great people management skills with the development mindset
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to influence different business areas and management levels
  • Demonstrate in depth knowledge of HR trends and practices
  • Demonstrate commerciality and a strong knowledge of current UK employment law
  • A motivated and proactive individual with the ability to adapt to different business needs and having the mindset of continuous improvement.
