Oakleaf are currently partnering with a multinational organisation to hire an interim (12 month FTC) into their programmes and project team. Based out of the UK and Ireland you will be working across multiple stakeholders to help drive the implementation and delivery of key People initiatives, projects across the Region.

The role will be required to help translate business requirements into tangible and practical People led projects with the capability to develop and manage robust plans aligned to business objectives. The role will blend a working knowledge of operational People delivery and best practice together with a clear understanding of the project management discipline.

As People Project Manager you will be required to work closely alongside the People Partner, People Operational Partner team and HR Specialist teams spanning Learning Development, Resourcing, Mobility, Reward and People Services.

Key responsibilities will include

To work closely alongside the business to plan and develop the project approach using the appropriate/relevant project management methodology.

  • Full end to end project management ownership and support for the areas of People activity allocated.
  • To work with third party providers to design and deliver service into the Region as required e.g. Early Careers programme partners etc.
  • Working with identified People project teams and key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of key project milestones on time and within budget.
  • Clearly and concisely presenting and communicating project status to People team colleagues and other stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner and identifying and escalating business risks as appropriate

Candidates will have experience of working in a matrix environment where relationships are key to success. The People Project Manager must have the drive and appetite to deliver a project management service across a broad the People agenda. You will have a strong generalist background as practical understanding and experience is key to success in this team, however you will be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver across a range of projects.
