Job Details
A successful US law firm are recruiting for a Senior Recruitment Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Recruitment Director, this role will be primarily focused on all aspects of fee-earning legal recruiting for Europe. Responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of lateral recruitment to include gaining clear view of hiring needs and goals
- Gaining a thorough understanding of position requirements, creating job descriptions and helping to identify talent
- Developing a strong understanding of the legal market and building relationships with recruitment agencies
- Partnering with internal marketing and communications to develop new and innovative recruitment strategies
- Managing full recruitment cycle for lateral candidates
- Liaising with partners if and when they require additional resources e.g., temporary lawyers etc.
- Conducting check-ins with associates to gauge their satisfaction, utilisation and engagement
- Supporting associate review process by working with practice group leaders to ensure quality reviews are delivered
- Collaborating with Professional Development team regarding development training programs
- Collaborating with broader Talent team on various tasks and projects and with Diversity & Inclusion team on initiatives
As Senior Recruitment Manager, you will possess:
- Previous experience operating at manager/senior manager level within legal recruitment
- Strong MS Office skills
- Strong education, ideally to degree level
