My client, a global trading business based in the city, currently have an HR Business Partner role available to cover a period of maternity in the team. In this multi-faceted role, you will provide strategic and operational HR consultation including employee relations support to stakeholders across London and EMEA.


  • Building effective relationships with local leadership to outline and implement business strategy and operations.
  • Working closely with regional HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs)
  • Advise (with respect to local employment jurisdiction) on employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Define talent management needs and partner with specialised HR areas to implement solutions.
  • Implement and administer local human resources policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Development and support of effective change management planning.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance and managing the administration of all of the activities related to the Senior Manager Certification Regime (SMCR).
  • Skills:

  • HR leader with significant experience working with senior leadership teams.
  • Experience in areas such as employee relations, org development, staffing, diversity, learning/development, rewards, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive strategies forward in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law required.
  • Knowledge of the financial services markets, and relevant regulatory requirements such as SMCR is preferred.
  • Experience of managing staff is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
