Your new company
You will be joining a large research organisation who are conducting vital research across a varied range of Medical Issues. Alongside you in the HR team will be an experienced HR Advisor, HR Manager and the Head of HR. You will report directly into the HR Manager, a very experienced HR leader who can share lots of experience and learns with you to help develop your skills whilst in this role.
Your new role
You will take ownership of the right to work and vetting process of new starters, ensuring the correct clearance is obtained prior to start and you will liaise with both candidates and hiring managers to keep everyone on track and organised. You will also manage contracts, ensuring new starters receive theirs, current contract updates or amendment are processed and will manage the starter/leaver process too. For all new starters you will also look after the on boarding process, ensuring plans are in place for probation reviews, learning and development, training and that all new starter paperwork is completed too.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of working in a HR department is essential to be considered, the HR team will provide thorough training on the systems, policies and processes, but its crucial that you are an organised individual with great attention to detail. Ideally you will have your CIPD Level 3 or above. Its also important that you are local or commutable to South Oxfordshire, as you will be expected to work from the office several days a week and your initial few weeks will be done in the office full time for your training.
