Senior EMEA Payroll Analyst £50k to £65k + RSU's - West End

A leading and global "multimedis software firm" seek an experienced Senior EMEA Payroll Analyst.

Reporting into the EMEA Payroll Manager you will be a key hire and look to play a key role with the current 16 EMEA countries but also add value in the continued growth of the firm.

The role:

  • Understand and apply payroll concepts for the EMEA region payrolls in order to process payroll
  • Review and audit payroll results while ensuring payroll is delivered on time and accurately
  • Manage payroll funding and treasury responsibilities as it relates to net pay, tax and fringe funding across the region.
  • Facilitate, review and verify timely quarterly and year-end reporting
  • Manage and respond to payroll inquiries within SLA timeframes
  • Perform in-depth investigations and analysis to determine the root cause of repeated problems to identify gaps and continuous improvement opportunities and initiate corrective actions
  • Document payroll processes and procedures with the ability to suggest best practices and opportunities
  • Demonstrate expertise in payroll business processes and understand assigned and cross functional areas, develop and provide training and education
  • Assist with internal and external audits and data gathering
  • Identify, recommend and prioritize improvements to the customer experience, as well as internal process improvements and work with appropriate internal & external partners to implement
  • Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting to support the business

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of EMEA payroll, including gross-to-net calculation, regional and local pay practices, regulations, and tax regulations
  • Knowledge of pre/post tax benefit deductions, fringe benefits, equity, gross-ups, and their impact to net pay
  • Understanding of regulations related to salaries, wages, taxes, benefits, and other payroll related matters
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Handle sensitive data with integrity, confidentiality, and the utmost discretion
  • Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to efficiently perform several tasks concurrently and work independently in a deadline driven environment
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Work proactively to maintain current knowledge of pay practices and regulations

Must have's

  • Solid experience with Workday, ADP (Streamline) preferred
