Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this niche logistics / outsourcing Business with its HQ in Swindon, to recruit a talented HR Administrator on a permanent basis.
The business is expanding and you will be instrumental in helping the team place the people agenda at the very heart of the business.
Reporting directly to the Head of HR and working in a small team, you will have responsibility to provide confidential and efficient generalist support to the HR team and business in a timely way.
You will have responsibility for monitoring and recording absence information on a daily basis using the absence management system, acting as a first point of contact for related enquiries and providing regular accurate and appropriate information, escalating issues as they arise to an HR Advisor. In addition, you will be processing and maintaining HR information relating to the employee life cycle including starter information, progress reviews, contract variations, occupational health referrals, preparing and checking data for payroll.
We are looking for you to possess previous HR experience, ideally gained in an environment where employees work across different sites and have differing terms of employment. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills together with an ability to use tact and diplomacy when dealing with challenging situations. You will be able to compile, read and interpret reports derived from various systems and comfortable prioritising and planning your work activities.
