HR / ER Advisor

Ashley kate are delighted to be working with a leading company in their search for a permanent HR Advisor for their Kent sites. This is a full time opportunity with a salary of up to £32k depending on experience. The role will be home based with travel as and when required to sites within Kent.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and growing HR function for the UK. The role will be responsible for providing predominantly ER support and coaching to line managers across the region, helping them to resolve HR issues.

The role:
Delivering the full range of professional human resources services to a range of internal clients and business units
Providing quality advice and guidance on high risk HR casework
Providing an accurate and timely remote HR service, responding to telephone and email enquiries and supporting HR cases, ensuring accurate and timely recording of information – this will be delivered remotely and on site as required
Delivering and supporting with HR projects
Providing virtual and on site support for clients as required, including advising at meetings, hearings, appeals, investigations.
Building relationships with client groups to help identify opportunities to develop and grow the business,

What we’re looking for:
Previous experience within HR and ER casework – essential
Experience working in Education sector an advantage
Up to date knowledge, understanding and practical application of employment legislation and issues including diversity in employment.
Experience of managing discipline/grievance/capability/redundancy/ absence issues.
Flexibility in terms of travel to client site as needed – own car essential
