The Graduate Recruitment Advisor will report into the Recruitment Manager and will work alongside key stakeholders to develop the firm's graduate marketing strategy. The role will play a key role within the graduate recruitment team. It will focus on developing and delivering the graduate marketing strategy and assisting with pre-selection and assessment of candidates for the firm's open days, vacation schemes and training contract vacancies.

My client is a leading Professional Services firm based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Pre-selection and screening of applications
  • Running assessment days, including assessing group exercises, testing, written exercises and managing wash-ups
  • Post-offer process management to meet annual recruitment targets
  • Developing and delivering the firm's marketing strategy for target universities
  • Liaising with Careers Service and Faculty contacts at various universities, negotiating sponsorship agreements with student societies, and regularly visiting campus throughout the academic year to raise the firm's profile - (may include evening work, travel within the UK and Ireland and occasional overnight stays)
  • Developing content for social media campaigns and the website
  • Delivering skills workshops (on campus and internal) and attending Milkround events
  • Attending careers fairs and hosting drinks receptions/ dinners
  • Running and organising vacation programmes
  • Running diversity events to support the firm's Diversity & Inclusion policy with our internal networks, university societies and our diversity suppliers
  • Running additional work experience programmes
  • Assisting the Graduate Recruitment Manager with ad hoc projects
  • Answering enquiries via the telephone or graduate recruitment inbox

Profile

* We are looking for an individual who already has graduate recruitment experience at Advisor level
* You will be used to working collaboratively within a team, and enjoy taking responsibility for projects
* Previous graduate (or early careers) recruitment experience
* Previous recruitment experience in a corporate setting and/ or professional services firm
* You will have well established, close relationships with target UK universities
* Experience of working within a small team
* Ability to deal with people at all levels
* Highly organised and able to prioritise and delegate work to meet deadlines
* Strong attention to detail
* Confident and articulate
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude
* Ability to gain confidence of internal and external clients quickly
* Commercially aware and understands the business
* Excellent networker
* Flexibility and a flexible approach to working hours

Job Offer

  • A competitive basic salary up to £36,000 per annum
