The HR Manager is part of the Senior Management Team and responsible for the HR function.
It's a hands on role, responsible for the management of the day to day HR operations, leading a
small team.

Description

This is an operational HR Manager position - key responsibilities will be:

- To provide HR support including: recruitment, performance management, training & development

- Managing a small team

- Working with the Senior Management Team to drive change and employee engagement

- Dealing with complex ER issues

- Ensuring compliance

- Updating of policies & procedures

- TUPE

- Project work

Profile

To be successful, you will have the following experience:

  • CIPD qualified (level 5 minimum)
  • Proven HR generalist experience
  • Employment law knowledge
  • The ability to think commercially and understand the business impacts of decisions
  • Capable of building strong relationships

Sector experience is not essential however candidates from a retail/catering business would
be an advantage.
