Workforce Project Manager supporting ED&I, strategic workforce and resourcing projects for the NHS
Were seeking an experienced HR/Workforce Project Manager with strong background and experience of formal project management methodology eg Prince 2 / APM who will support / work on a new Equality & Diversity / Wellbeing strategies/programmes.
Your new role
As Workforce Project Manager, you will work in multi disciplinary teams with other services from across the region delivering a range of workforce and resourcing projects and programmes.
We are looking for an experienced project manager with at least some background in Equality Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) /Workforce/HR. You will be supporting an EDI Programme Manager with developing a new EDI Strategy, although they may also get involved with some other internal programmes such as our Place of Work programme, Wellbeing in the workplace and also other strategic workforce projects.
We're really looking for someone who can deliver robust project management practices such as tracking, reporting and monitoring Risks and Issues, identifying milestones and reporting progress. The individual would also need to be able to work collaboratively across the different business functions - for example OD, Internal Comms, Wellbeing Team and the various employee networks, although day-to-day they will sit within the Workforce team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking or supporting workforce analysis, modelling and planning
- Facilitating, coordinating and managing a variety of ED&I / resourcing initiatives and schemes
- Supporting in the delivery of external workforce and resourcing projects and programmes
This role will suit someone with a range of workforce and/or resourcing skills and experience who likes to work on new challenges, working collaboratively with different teams to deliver innovative, impactful outputs and outcomes.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be educated to Masters level in relevant subject or equivalent with the following:
- Significant experience in the delivery of Equality & Diversity Projects, Workforce and/or resourcing/HR Projects
- Project Management experience with a HR/Workforce environment
- Formal experience of Project Management methodology eg Prince 2 / APM or similar
- Experience of coordinating projects in complex and challenging environments

This is a great role to join an organisation on a 3-6 month FTC offering remote working, with the potential for permanent opportunities in future. You will receive a salary between £40,000-£42,000 (DOE).
You will be working remotely but have potential to work out of sites in the South of England eg Eastleigh
