Employee Relations and HR Policy Team Leader

You will be joining an organisation who are currently going through a period of transformation within HR. This is a really exciting time to join them, with investment from the organisation to increase headcount and re structure the HR team to ensure its fit for purpose and able to add value.

Your new role
As Employee Relations & Policy Team Leader, you will essentially supervise and lead the newly created ER & Policy team. This will include line management of 5 HR Managers who are responsible for Employee Relations and HR Operations support to their client groups. Each of them highly experienced in what they do. You will be responsible for Trade Union negotiations, ensuring the policies remain fit for purpose and are regularly reviewed.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience in managing employee relations and line management of HR staff would be highly beneficial. You must have experience of working with Trade Unions as this is a crucial part of the role and you will have to provide expert advice and guidance to the wider ER team. Our client is looking a MCIPD qualified or Level 7 HR professional to take on this role. CIPD and professional development is a large part of their culture.
