Your new company
This is a very busy public sector organisation based in Birmingham are keen to recruit at a head of level to run their shared service centre function, you will lead the training and development/HR function within the control centre and actively build capabilities across the team. You will be the first point of contact for any HR issues and you will be in charge of all UK HR matters across this function. This role is completely remote working and will not require any travel to the site. It will also be a minimum of 12 months.
Your new role
Analyse the existing talent and locate what might be needed in order to build a successful workforce. You will need to identity any skills gaps and see what you are able to do to bridge these gaps. Manage the continuous improvements and support on giving learning advice. You will be managing the learning and talent development projects on time and effectively. You will support regular HR training and also deal with stakeholder management and build relationships across the business.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful within this role you will need to have strong Head of experience, ideally a varied background and some experience working in a fast paced, shared service centre environment. You will need to be able to deal with a high pressure environment and assisting with all areas of HR from training to learning and development to workforce planning.
