IMMEDIATE START - Full time HR Generalist based in St Asaph, flexible working- Monday - Friday

Your new company
Working for one of the UKs most important emergency services based in St Asaph, My client is seeking a professional HR Generalist to join their team during a large period of growth.

Your new role
The role is being offered on a full time basis - Monday - Friday with hybrid working and a flexible working pattern.
You will have responsibility for HR related matters across a specified region within the organisation's service area and to provide a proactive and innovative HR advisory service to employees.
You will also assist the HR Manager in fulfilling the objectives of the HR Department and ensuring the delivery of a high quality, efficient and cost effective service with a strong focus on recruitment.
Some of your duties will include but not limited to
To oversee any recruitment processes required, which will include; authorising vacancies, liaising with the Recruitment Management Assistant to prepare application and interview packs, organising and attending interviews and liaising with relevant line managers and job applicants with regards to the requirements and responsibilities
To conduct or organise pre-employment checks and prepare employment contracts and appointment letters ensuring compliance with legislation and to notify all key staff of recruitment decisions and outcomes
To provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures and conditions of service to all employees at every level within the company as and when required.
To undertake any other HR project work as required by the HR Manager, this may include job evaluation processes, creating statistical reports, updating HR related policies or Service Administrative Policy and Procedure Orders


What you'll need to succeed
Knowledge of employment law and other legislation relevant to HR
Previous experience of undertaking attendance management, recruitment and HR project work
Experience of undertaking and managing service level agreements/tenders.
Excellent communication, organisation, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to meet deadlines whilst working under pressure
