The L&D Trainer role is responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of training delivered online through eLearning and webinars, and also facilitated classroom-based learning sessions across a broad remit including induction and software training

Description

The L&D Trainer is a broad role covering the full spectrum of training activities, from Induction and Software Training to Leadership Skills courses. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and delivery of a broad range of courses through both online and classroom training
  • Creating a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in all course content
  • Finding and analysing skills gaps of colleagues and offering solutions
  • Composing and delivering training sessions both virtually and classroom-based on a wide range of software applications, including in house systems and Microsoft packages
  • Building relationships with management teams to identity training requirements and provide one-to-one training support as and when required
  • Co-ordinating the administration of training courses, including diary and database management

Profile

This L&D Trainer role will suit an experienced trainer with a previous background in the professional services sector or similar. You will have experience of the full training cycle including being/having:

  • Well organised and confident in L&D administration and coordination
  • Exceptional coaching and facilitation skills
  • A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 including Word, Excel Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Experience in designing and delivering IT skills training courses to a wide range of users
  • Experience in designing e-learning packages would be an advantage but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a self-starter
  • A willingness to travel to deliver training across the Yorkshire region
  • Full UK driving licence is preferred
