To provide a responsive, friendly and effective service to your client groups, to build and develop relationships with managers and employees at all levels providing support and guidance on a range of HR matters and sharing good practice throughout the organisation.

Description

In this role you will provide expert HR advice and support as a professional business partner for designated service areas to ensure the delivery of a pro-active, solutions focussed HR service aligned to the achievement of the strategic objectives.

This role will be responsible for providing a full range of generalist HR activity to your designated client group; ensuring advice, guidance and output is aligned to the strategic business plan.

Profile

  • CIPD member or HR related qualification
  • Track record of providing professional advice and support to managers on a wide range of HR issues
  • Proven experience of dealing with complex HR issues such as termination, grievance and disciplinary
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation and best practice
  • Ability to develop management toolkits and deliver management skills training
  • Experience of HRMIS and other database management tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others in writing, on the telephone and face to face
  • Attention to detail
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Report production
  • Manage own time efficiently
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion, sensitivity and diplomacy
  • Act with professional integrity
