Learning and Development Manager - Manufacturing
A permanent opportunity for a Learning and Development Lead to be based in the East Midlands. We ideally are looking for L&D professionals who have worked in either manufacturing, construction or logistics firms previously. This role is required to be based in the East Midlands 30% of the working week. This role is very much a L&D lead role and the successful candidate will be building the L&D capability and function for the operations business unit for the organisation. With this in mind, you will need to provide strong stakeholder management and have the ability to shape and building a L&D function from scratch. You will be working in operations so you will need to demonstrate site manufacturing / construction experience.
In this role you will manage four L&D professionals and work really closely with the HR Director for the supply chain business. You will be responsible for building operational capability , high performance development and work closely with the divisional talent team.
- Lead the overall programme management including learning pathways, capability mapping, entry level talent programmes and graduate schemes.
- Manage a team of 4
- Work in partnership with the talent team
- Strategic planning - define the overall strategy and translating this into a three year plan
This role will require the L&D professional to lead all learning initiatives across the supply chain business. This is an amazing opportunity to really shape and build a division for a strong organisation.
