Key Responsibilities include:

  • Implementation of the regulatory requirements for Remuneration Systems under IVV):
  • Managing the global compensation reviews and ensuring compliance with specific requirements of the German Banking Act and IVV
  • Identifying Material Risk Takers in line with the IVV/RTS
  • Understanding and applying deferred compensation systems
  • Preparing materials for the Remuneration Committee and Board Meetings
  • Responsible for Remuneration Reports and Remuneration Policy
  • Conducting Market Benchmark Analysis with external vendors
  • Disclosure Management and Regulator Notification
  • EMEA and global stakeholder management across the compensation team

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:

Essential

  • Professional Working Experience in Compensation Management and HR in a (foreign-) Bank, international Financial Institution, international Audit Company or an international Compensation Consultancy
  • Strong understanding and practical experience of the regulatory requirements for HR in a Bafin-licensed Financial Institution (EBA Guidelines, CRD, RTS, German Banking Act, IVV, MaRisk, MaComp
