Learning and Development Business Partner on a 12 month FTC
Your new company
I have just registered a Learning and Development Business Partner opportunity to join my client on a 12 month FTC; this is a newly created position within in the organisation. My client is looking at potentially making this role go permanent but currently awaiting approval. The role is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne within a not for profit / charity organisation on the look out for a strong L&D professional to work closely with the Head of OD.
You will be the main driver of shaping and delivering the services of the OD & L&D Function.
Your new role
Within this new role you will be working closely with senior stakeholders to support the delivery of the people strategy through effective L&D services. Your main responsibilities is to ensure the organisation workforce has the right knowledge and skills to support the overall strategic aims and objectives.
- Overseeing all mandatory training across the organisation
- Take a lead on the design, implement and delivery of training
- Manage the full training cycle (analysis/design/delivery/evaluation)
- Project work: Develop and implement effective onboarding/induction programmes
- Coordinate the organisations Apprenticeship Programme
- Evaluate all learning and development activity
- Support the Head of Organisational Development with a range of projects
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Current knowledge of learning & development best practice
- CIPD L.5
- Able to deliver training online and class room based
- Strong communication skills
- Significant experience in a L&D/OD function within a large multi-disciplinary organisation
- Experience design learning packages
