HR Generalist – CPS East Midlands

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is delighted to advertise the opportunity of a HR Generalist role in CPS East Midlands.

The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to operational management teams on a wide range of HR issues to improve staff engagement, performance, attendance, conduct, health and well-being, including the handling and preparation of Occupational Health (OH) Assist referrals, organisational change and managing redeployment etc. You will be involved with promoting the use of Oracle HR, as well as providing training and advice where necessary.

The postholder will participate where appropriate and organise selection panels in-line with the Resourcing, Recruitment, Mobility and Transfer Policy and relevant timescales. They will successfully communicate HR activity to the HQ Directorate(s) and advice to individual line managers to resolve issues identified and/or remedial action where required.

Delivering a customer focused service to all staff and managers across the whole range of human resources functions is a key part of the role. The ability to Identify, address and escalate as necessary issues of non-compliance with relevant HR policies is also important.
