Job Details


The HR Assistant will work as part of the HR Shared Service team and will be responsible for delivering transactional HR processes and administrative duties for the HR team and wider business.

My client is a a leading Professional Services firm based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver transactional processes within the HR function
  • Provide high level administrative support for the HR team and the wider business
  • Work with the HR team to ensure the delivery of a prompt and accurate HR service
  • Manage and maintain employee records
  • Manage and maintain electronic records, ensuring all digital filing is kept up-to-date
  • Monitor the HR inbox for incoming queries
  • Support on ad-hoc tasks
  • Assist with HR project work
  • Assist the recruitment team with new starter processes, procedures and administration
  • Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries
  • Work on HR systems

Profile

  • Previous experience in a HR Assistant role
  • HR Administration experience is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
