HR Projects Manager - Interim / 6 months FTC - circa £45000 - remote based - travel to Warrington and /or Gainsborough

Your new company
A global manufacturing company who has been expanding its UK base through acquisitions - and now has 5 sites in the UK (in the North West, Lincolnshire and the Midlands) - have been going through a change management period to harmonise the separate UK companies into the 1 group.

Your new role

This is an exciting project support role would reporting to the UK HR Manager and the EU Senior Manager of Compensation & Benefits, as well as with the wider UK HR Team and Senior Payroll Specialist for implementation.

You will take the lead on the planning and roll out of the change management programme and subsequent consultations across several UK legal entities. The changes you will be rolling out consist of :

  • Harmonisation to a single DC pension scheme
  • Introduction of a new benefits including private medical insurance for management employees, a medical cash plan, and income protection/disability benefits for legacy employees
  • Harmonisation of other benefits and HR policies including life insurance, paid time off, statutory entitlements and policies (sickness, paternity, maternity, bereavement, adoption)


You will also liaise with Trade Unions to facilitate successful employee relations.

This role can be based at 1 of their sites and also Work From Home - either Gainsborough , Warrington or Milton Keynes.


Travel to the other sites will be part of this role and Company leased / hire car and full expenses will be provided

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will have a solid HR Generalist background and change management skills (ideally within the comp and bens arena) - from manufacturing or related industry and Unionised background.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

The group has implemented a hybrid working policy - so you can do 2/3 days from home and the rest form either their Gainsboorugh, Warrington or Greater Manchester sites - although travel to all their 5 UK sites will be required from time to time.
