HR Adviser - 9-12 months FTC
Location: South Manchester /Remote working
Salary: £35,000 -£35,000
Macmillan Davies are again partnering with this prestigious engineering company, this time the requirement being for a HR Advisor to fulfil a 9-12months contract with the main purpose of the role to lead on a very exciting recruitment project where you will manage the ongoing recruitment for volume engineering, manufacturing and technical roles.
Based onsite in South Manchester the HR Advisor is a key contributor to the wider HR team too and is responsible for providing support, advice and guidance on lower level ER issues including grievance and sickness.
Key responsibilities include;
*Working with managers on full lifecycle of recruitment, reviewing and updating job descriptions, screening CV's upon submission, liaising with agencies and candidates, interviewing
*Acting as first point of contact for managers and employees at all levels of the business on HR policies, procedures and legislation
*Providing HR support in formal processes e.g. disciplinary, grievance, absence reviews
*Leading process for facilitating secondments to Europe - obtaining visas, appropriate insurance, government/tax documents, accommodation etc.
*Acting as support link between employees abroad and UK management team
*Coordinating apprenticeship programme
*Coordinating, recording and updating training plans with department leads
This role will suit an experienced HR Advisor who has worked in a blue collar environment, although this is not essential, what is essential is that you have strength of character and are able to work autonomously.
